1. USING THE SERVICE
Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the Service
Your Account
To create an account, you provide:
Email, name, birth date
Framework preferences (MBTI, Enneagram, Astrology, etc.)
Optional: Birth time/location for astrological calculations
Your responsibilities:
Keep your login credentials secure
Provide accurate information

Don't share your account
We may suspend or terminate your account for
Violating these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Abuse of the Service

The Service is NOT:

Mental health treatment or therapy

Designed for emergencies or crisis situations
The Service does NOT create a therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship.
Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical or mental health concerns.

AI Companion:

Has safety mechanisms but cannot guarantee crisis detection
Dream Analysis:
Symbolic interpretation, not literal truth
Cannot predict the future
Should not be sole basis for major life decisions
Uses tentative language ("could," "might," "perhaps")
Tarot Readings:
For entertainment and self-reflection only
Not fortune-telling or supernatural prediction
Cannot predict specific future events
Should not replace professional advice (legal, medical, financial)
Pre-Existing Conditions

3. SUBSCRIPTION & PAYMENT

Free for 7 days from account creation

Dream analysis: 1 per day
Tarot readings: 2 during trial
Automatically expires after 7 days
Unlimited Tier ($25/month):
All breathwork presets including custom
Meditation options
Affirmations with category selection
Companion AI chat: 1,000 messages per month
Dream analysis: 2 per day
Tarot readings: 2 per day
Payments
Processed by Apple
Subscriptions automatically renew monthly
You authorize us to charge your payment method each billing cycle
Cancel anytime in Account Settings
Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period
No refunds for unused portions of subscription period
Price Changes
We may change prices with 30 days' notice via email and in-app notification. Continued use after price change means you accept the new price.
4. YOUR CONTENT
What You Own
You own all content you create (dreams, messages, tarot questions, etc.).
By using the Service, you grant us a license to:
Store and process your content
Display it back to you
Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service
What You Can't Post
Don't submit content that:
Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
Infringes on others' rights
Contains malware or viruses
Harasses or threatens others
Contains hate speech
Exploits or harms minors
Is intentionally misleading
AI Processing
Your content (dreams, messages, tarot questions) is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to provide responses. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Deletion
When you delete your account, your content is permanently deleted within 30 days (except data we're required to keep by law).
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Our Stuff
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Dareful Works LLC. This includes:
Software and code
Design and graphics
Meditation audio
Affirmation images
Text and content
You may NOT:
Copy, modify, or distribute our content
Reverse engineer the Service
Remove copyright notices
Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
Access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers)
Your License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use third-party services:
Anthropic (Claude AI): AI processing
Supabase: Database and storage
Railway: Hosting
These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for their actions or content.
7. PRIVACY
Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

We share only with service providers (never sell)
You can access, download, or delete your data anytime
Not HIPAA-compliant: Don't use the Service to store protected health information (PHI).
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree NOT to:
Violate any laws or regulations
Abuse or harass other users (if we add social features)
Attempt to hack or disrupt the Service
Create multiple accounts to abuse trial periods
Share your account credentials
Use automated tools (bots, scripts)
Interfere with other users' access
Impersonate others
Engage in fraudulent activity
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
9. DISCLAIMERS
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
We do NOT guarantee:
The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
Results or outcomes from using the Service
AI responses will always be accurate or appropriate
The Service will meet your specific needs
You use the Service at your own risk.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dareful Works LLC is NOT liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including:
Lost profits or revenue
Lost data
Emotional distress
Personal injury
Any other losses
Arising from:
Your use of the Service
Inability to use the Service
AI-generated content
Errors or bugs
Unauthorized access to your data
Service interruptions
Our total liability is limited to the greater of:
Amounts you paid us in the last 12 months, or
$100
Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations, so these may not fully apply to you.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your content
Your violation of others' rights
12. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We'll try to notify you of material changes, but we're not required to.
We're not liable for any modifications or discontinuation of the Service.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & ARBITRATION
Try to Resolve First
Before filing a claim, contact us at legal@darefulworks.com. We'll try to resolve disputes informally within 60 days.
Arbitration Agreement
YOU AND DAREFUL WORKS AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION, NOT IN COURT.
What this means:
Most disputes go to arbitration, not a judge or jury
Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator through the American Arbitration Association (AAA)
Arbitration decisions are final with limited appeal rights
Exceptions (not subject to arbitration):
Small claims court cases (if eligible)
Intellectual property disputes
Claims for injunctive relief
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND DAREFUL WORKS WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class.
Arbitration Process
Arbitration conducted by AAA under Consumer Arbitration Rules
Arbitration in your county of residence (if US) or online
Fees: For claims under $10,000, we pay all arbitration fees (filing and arbitrator fees). For claims $10,000 or more, fees allocated per AAA rules.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of arbitration by emailing legal@darefulworks.com within 30 days of first using the Service.
Governing Law
North Carolina law governs these Terms. For non-arbitrable disputes, you agree to jurisdiction in North Carolina courts.
14. GENERAL TERMS
Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.
Assignment
You can't transfer these Terms. We may assign them to another company (e.g., if we're acquired).
Force Majeure
We're not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.).

Stop if you experience dizziness or discomfort
Don't use while driving or operating machinery

For relaxation and mindfulness
Don't use while driving or needing full attention
Audio content is licensed or created by us
Affirmations:
For inspiration, not medical treatment
Images are licensed or created by us
Dream Journal & AI Analysis:
Symbolic interpretation, not diagnostic
Not predictive of future events
Uses psychological frameworks (Jungian, etc.)
Usage limits based on subscription tier
Tarot Readings:
Entertainment and self-reflection only
Not fortune-telling or supernatural services
Not a substitute for professional advice
Card interpretations based on traditional meanings
Usage limits based on subscription tier
AI Companion:
Powered by Claude (Anthropic)
Not a human therapist
Cannot diagnose conditions
Built-in safety mechanisms (but not foolproof)
Conversation history saved

16. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
If you're a California resident, you may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing. We don't disclose personal information for third-party direct marketing.
17. INTERNATIONAL USERS
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access from outside the US:
You're responsible for compliance with local laws
Your data will be transferred to and processed in the US
